Lowe’s is selling its first-ever military-grade AR15 rifles.
The sale is available in the U.S. and Canada, and includes a 20% discount on the rifle.
The rifle comes with a scope, cleaning rod and spare magazine, and is also sold in a $9,995 MSRP.
The rifle will retail for $7.99 at the Lowes retail store in the San Fernando Valley.
The store is not accepting pre-orders, but will be open for public inspection beginning Tuesday, according to Lowe’s.
The AR15, a popular assault rifle used by U.A.F. and ISIS terrorists, is one of the most popular rifles on the market, according a survey by Bloomberg.
The military-style rifle has been in use for more than 20 years, but has not seen the kind of popularity it has in recent years.
Last year, the military sold more than 1 million AR15s, according the National Shooting Sports Foundation.
Lowes military sales director Steve Gillett told The Associated Press that the rifles are designed for use by elite soldiers, but can be adapted for everyday use.
The company is not yet shipping the rifles to U.K. customers, GilleTT told the AP.
Lowe’s has been one of several gun stores that have sold rifles to customers in the United States, including Sturm Ruger.
In January, Lowe’s sold about a thousand AR15 assault rifles to military personnel in Texas.
